PumpIQ Founding Tester Program Terms & Disclosure
Last updated: October 2026. These terms govern participation in the PumpIQ Founding Tester Program. By submitting an application, you agree to these program guidelines.
1. Program Overview & Eligibility
The PumpIQ Founding Tester Program is an exclusive, invitation-only initiative designed for petrol pump owners, operators, and managers across India who wish to help shape the future of modern fuel station software.
- Application Review: Submitting an application does not automatically grant admission. Applications are reviewed manually based on station profile, geographic representation, and testing capacity.
- Eligibility: Applicants must be authorized owners or operators of one or more fuel station locations.
2. Tester Benefits & Access Period
Approved Founding Testers receive:
- Access until 31 March 2027: Free access to all PumpIQ desktop core capabilities until 31 March 2027, subject to active participation and compliance with program terms.
- Early Feature Access: First access to experimental modules, reports, and automation tools before general release.
- Priority Support: Dedicated assistance for configuration, report verification, and technical troubleshooting.
- Roadmap Influence: Direct feedback channel with the core product engineering team.
3. Tester Responsibilities
As a Founding Tester, you commit in good faith to:
- Use PumpIQ for your routine petrol pump reconciliation, daily sales records (DSR), and inventory tracking.
- Maintain Diagnostic Reporting Enabled: Keep automated diagnostic error reporting enabled throughout the testing period so unexpected errors and calculation anomalies are reported directly to engineering.
- Report any unexpected calculation discrepancies, application bugs, or usability issues encountered.
- Provide candid feedback through short quarterly surveys or check-in messages.
4. Error & Diagnostic Reporting (Mandatory Condition of Free Access)
🔒 Mandatory Technical Diagnostics • Zero Customer PII Transmitted
In exchange for receiving full access to PumpIQ until 31 March 2027 completely free of charge, participants agree that automated technical diagnostic and error reporting is a mandatory condition of the Founding Tester Program. The core purpose of providing free software to founding testers is to receive real-world technical diagnostics so our engineering team can detect calculation anomalies, fix application crashes, and continuously improve PumpIQ's stability for Indian fuel stations.
Our strict privacy commitments and diagnostic policies:
- Mandatory Program Requirement: Because PumpIQ is provided completely free of charge to Founding Testers, automated diagnostic and error reporting cannot be disabled under the tester license. Stations requiring zero-telemetry isolation or offline operation without error reporting may choose our standard Commercial Paid license.
- What IS collected: Technical application crash stack traces, Python exception types, software version build, Windows OS release, affected software module (e.g., DSR calculation, shift closing, billing module), and event timestamps.
- What is NEVER collected: Customer names, vehicle numbers, phone numbers, credit ledgers, outstanding balances, sales quantities, fuel prices, cash tallies, transaction records, passwords, database files, or private API keys. Both client-side and server-side automated scrubbing redact all sensitive PII before any technical trace is stored.
- Strict Purpose Limitation: Collected diagnostics are used solely by PumpIQ core developers to diagnose software bugs, calculation discrepancies, and performance bottlenecks. Diagnostics are never sold, rented, or used for commercial marketing.
- Automatic Retention & Deletion: Diagnostic reports are automatically retained for a maximum of 90 days for investigation and are permanently purged thereafter.
5. Program Completion & Conversion-to-Paid
🛡️ Customer Data Protection Guarantee: No Data Hostage
PumpIQ runs offline on your computer. All your transaction records, daily logs, and customer sheets reside safely in your local SQLite and Excel files. We will never hold your data hostage or delete your historical records upon program expiry.
- Advance Expiry Notices: Testers will receive transparent notifications at 30 days, 14 days, and 7 days before the 31 March 2027 program conclusion.
- Voluntary Renewal: Following the test period, testers may choose to subscribe to an ordinary paid plan (Monthly, Yearly, or Lifetime). Automatic renewals or unauthorized billing will never be applied.
- Data Export Continuity: If you decide not to renew after 31 March 2027, you retain full access to export your data to Excel, CSV, and PDF formats, and can continue using standard historical reporting in read-only mode.
6. Program Modifications & Revocation
PumpIQ reserves the right to revoke or suspend tester access in the event of software tampering, unauthorized redistribution, or abusive behavior.
